Moulded and Extruded Parts

Tubes, oil seals, washers, chords, ‘O’ rings, metal to rubber bonded items, gaskets and diaphragms are manufactured by us comes in the category of moulded and extruded parts. All these products are used for various purposes like consumer durables, automotive industries or electronic and medical equipments. These moulded and extruded parts are available in various size and shapes.

Neoprene Rubber (CR): Neoprene is a kind of synthetic rubber, which was developed in 1930 and incorporated in numerous products that are used in daily life. Neoprene rubber manufactured by us has great number of advantages like good resistance to ozone and sunlight, moderate oil and gasoline resistance, good resistance to abrasion and flex cracking, good inherent flame resistance and good resistance to refrigerants and ammonia but there are some limitations also like limited low temperature, poor for fair resistance to oxygenated solvents, poor for w/polar solvents, fair electrical resistivity and poor for fair resistance to aromatic solvents.

Applications: Petroleum products are not present and general sealing.

Temperature Range:

General
(- 40 Deg F to 250 Deg F)
(- 40 Deg C to 121 Deg C)
Durometer: 40 - 95 Shore A

Special
(Low Temp: Down to - 65 Deg F / - 54 Deg C)
(High Temp: Up to 300 Deg F / 149 Deg C)

Specific Gravity: 1.35 - 1.60 (Product)

Nitryle Butadiene Rubber (RBR): Nitryle butadiene rubber is a synthetic rubber copolymer made of acrylonitrile and butadiene. There are some advantages in nitryle rubber manufactured by us like good resistance to hydrocarbon solvents, wide range of service temperatures, excellent cold water resistant properties, good abrasion properties and superior resistance to petroleum based hydraulic fluids. There are some limitations also like poor resistance to oxygenated solvents, it is not recommended for glycol based brake fluids and phosphate ester fluids.

Applications: Nitrile molding used for petroleum product exposure and other molded rubber products.

Temperature Range:

General
(- 30 Deg F to 250 Deg F)
(- 34 Deg C to 121 Deg C)

Durometer: 40 - 90 Shore A

Special
(Low Temp: Down to - 65 Deg F / - 54 Deg C)
(High Temp: Up to 275 Deg F / 135 Deg C)
Specific Gravity: 1.15 - 1.40 (Product)

Ethylene Propelene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM): Ethyelne propelene diene terpolymer is elastromic and exhibit good processability. These are used for water and environmental seals in the absence of petroleum products. Good low temperature flexibility, good resistance to alkalis acids and oxygenated solvents, good resistance to glycol based brake fluids, superior resistance to water and excellent resistance to heat sunlight and ozone are some of the advantages found in this product. There are some limitations also like low hydrocarbon solvent resistance, poor gas resistance, poor mineral oil resistance and poor resistance of flames.

Applications: EPDM Polymers are used for water and environmental seals where petroleum products are absent.

Temperature Range:

General
(- 70 Deg F to 300 Deg F)
(- 57 Deg C to 149 Deg C)

Durometer: 45 - 90 Shore A

Special
(- 70 Deg F to 300 Deg F)
(- 57 Deg C to 149 Deg C)

Specific Gravity: 1.10 - 1.30 (Product)

Viton (FKM): Viton is a brand made of synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer, which is used in making of O-rings and other moulded or extruded parts. Excellent resistance to oil, silicone oil and gasoline, good resistance to oxygen, ozone and sunlight, good resistance for flames, and outstanding resistance to high heat are the advantages and limitations are poor resistance to low temperature, poor tear and cut growth resistance, little resistance to oxygenated solvents and fair to water and steam.

Applications: Rubber Seals, Gaskets and other custom rubber products used in extreme applications.

Temperature Range:

General
(-15 Deg F to 400 Deg F)
(-26 Deg C to 204 Deg C)

Durometer: 50- 90 Shore A

Special
(Low Temp: Down to -40 Deg F / -40 Deg C)
(High Temp: Up to 500 Deg F (260 deg C) w/Shorter Life Expectancy)

Specific Gravity: 1.70 - 2.20 (Product)

Epichlorohydrin (ECO): Epichlorohydrin is reactive organic compound made of epoxide and organo chloride. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent and garlic like odor which is insolvent in water. It is highly reactive compound, which carries advantage of excellent resistance to hydraulic fluids, good resistance to oxygen, ozone and high heat resistance.

Applications: Hose breathers and other custom rubber products used in automotive applications.

Durometer: 65 - 70 Shore A

Specific Gravity: 1.70 - 2.20 (Product)
